I'm Erin
I am a Registered Nurse of 21 years with 17 years bedside experience and over 8 years as a Legal Nurse Consultant. My primary background is NICU, PICU, and Pediatric departments (IR, PACU, floor, PICC team, Cardiac Stepdown). I was a travel Nurse for over 8 years as well working at several renowed Children's Hospital across the country. I started looking into Legal Nursing in 2015 after I became engaged and began thinking about my future family. I started my journey after attending a certificate conference for Legal Nursing while 22 weeks pregnant in 2016. After paying $10,000 for a course, I still did not know where to get started. It took me about 3 years of trial and error learning without direction. I want you to know that you do not need the most expensive course to get started a Legal Nurse Consultant. I am here to help you learn how to affordably get started as an LNC because you do not need to pay thousands. I am always open to questions.

What Education is needed to be a Legal Nurse Consultant?
Legal Nurses share the same training and experience as a bedside nurse; however, their role as an LNC is very different than of an RN in a medical facility. Nursing knowlege is paired with their understanding of health care and nursing laws. A certificate class is strongly recommended but not required. There is only one certification; however, it cannot be obtained until 2000 hours of work. You only need your Registered Nurse active license and not an advanced degree. There are different tiers of classes. All offer different types and levels of education into Legal Nursing. I have several affordable reccomendations in my guide.
The burning question every Nurse wants to know.
What is the salary of an LNC?
The pay of a Legal Nurse Consultant will differ depending on where you work and the Nursing background. Registered Nurses who transition into a Legal Nurse Consultant role typically often see a substantial pay increase. Rates may range from $50-$150 an hour depending on if you are working for a Law firm, subcontracting, or under your own LLC.

"Erin's report writing class was excellent! She showed us various types of sample reports that we would be providing as an LNC and explained them in great detail. The students in her class now have the opportunity to construct a sample work product that we can have readily to apply for work opportunities that she will review with us in a 1:1 session. When you are ready to engage in report writing training for your LNC business, I would look no further then Erin's Report Writing Class!"

"I really wish I would have found you first.
Being already knowledgeable about chronologies + fact summaries,
I now have more clarity on the merit review process and the specific role in attending a DME/ IME!
This report writing class basically outlined when starting to draft a chronology; or any report you’re preparing for that matter your foundation and customization of that report requires a detailed conversation with your attorney client! It’s really what he or she wants and how they want it. Same rule applies if you’re subcontracting!
Establishing how much medical jargon/ abbreviations they already know or may not know. It was also very helpful knowing how to bill for the services."

Her bundles are incredibly affordable and packed to the brim with excellent resources - many of which you couldn't find on your own."
